Often described as meditation in motion, Tai Chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements.

If you are looking for a way to reduce stress, consider practicing Tai Chi. Originally developed for self-defense, Tai Chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that’s now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions.

Tai Chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it safe for all ages and fitness levels. It is great for adults who may have had previous back or joint injuries.

Tai Chi is for ages 12 and older. No experience or training in martial arts is necessary and no equipment or uniforms are required. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing. Classes last one-half hour and are included at no additional cost with Academy membership. Classes are also open to non-members for a fee, including parents of students who are members.
